Saittas — Pera-Pedi Road to Be Temporarily Closed Due to Forestry Work
The Department of Forests of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment has announced temporary traffic restrictions on the Saittas — Pera-Pedi road.
From Monday, February 9, to Friday, February 20, 2026 (excluding weekends), the road will be partially closed for traffic from 08:00 to 15:00. The restrictions will apply to the section between the Pera-Pedi — Saittas and Moniatis junctions.
According to the announcement, the temporary closure is due to forestry work — trimming and felling trees along the road. The work is carried out by the Department of Forests to enhance wildfire protection for the Troodos forests as well as for nearby settlements.
Drivers are advised to take these restrictions into account when planning their routes and to follow the instructions of road services.
