Main Road in Nicosia to Be Closed Overnight
The main road in Nicosia will be closed tonight for maintenance work. Joseph Joseph Avenue in Strovolos will be shut down throughout the night to allow for road resurfacing.
According to an announcement by the Department of Public Works, the section of the avenue between the Pericleous Street intersection and Stavrou Avenue will be closed from 8:30 PM tonight until 5:30 AM tomorrow morning.
Traffic signs will be placed at the affected areas, and all vehicles will be redirected to alternative routes.
Drivers are encouraged to use Stavrou Avenue and Pericleous Street as detours during this time.
