Green Dot Cyprus reported record recycling results at the marathon

Green Dot Cyprus took part in the 7th Larnaca "Radisson Blu" Marathon — the country’s first “green” marathon — and recorded a new high in collected waste.
According to the company, PMD-waste containers were placed along the route, allowing for efficient collection of plastic bottles distributed to runners. A team of 15 Green Dot employees collected and sent for recycling 2,380 kg of waste — around 52,000 bottles and aluminum cans, setting a new project record.
The organization noted that cooperation with marathon organizers and local authorities once again proved that sports and ecology can work together. Green Dot thanked all participants and partners, emphasizing that joint efforts help create a more clean and green future.
