Greece and Cyprus have reached an agreement on the mutual recognition of diplomas
Greece has approved the agreement with Cyprus on the mutual recognition of diplomas and academic degrees from universities, colleges, and other educational institutions.
The Minister of Education, Religion, and Sports of Greece, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, stated that the agreement on the mutual recognition of diplomas with the Ministry of Education of Greece has been approved by the relevant committee of the Greek Parliament.
It is noted that the agreement with the Greek administration is based on the fraternal ties between the two nations and the common language. Additionally, currently, about four thousand Cypriot students are studying at Greek higher education institutions in Greece, and 18,000 Cypriot students are studying at Greek higher education institutions in Cyprus. Half of them are receiving education in person, and the other half are studying remotely.
