Farmers' protest with tractors to be held in Nicosia

On Monday, February 16, Cyprus agricultural organizations will hold a protest action outside the central office of the Cyprus Agricultural Payments Organization (CAPO) in Nicosia.
Participants are scheduled to gather at 10:00 AM at three locations:
- GSP Stadium parking lot,
- Jumbo store parking lot on Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue,
- Xenopoulos factory parking lot in Kokkinotrimithia.
Around 10:30 AM, a convoy of tractors, cars, and pickup trucks will head toward the organization's office on Michalis Koutsofta Street. Organizers have stated their intention to remain on-site until their demands are met.
Nicosia police officers and MMAD units will be present to maintain order. Drivers are warned of potential traffic congestion during the morning hours.
Police urge participants to comply with the public assembly law and follow instructions from law enforcement. In the event of a breach of order or a threat to safety, the protest may be restricted or terminated.
