Cyprus airports have served a record 13 million passengers since the beginning of the year
Hermes Airports announced that passenger traffic at Cyprus airports has reached 13 million travelers since the beginning of the current year (including departures and arrivals). The milestone was recorded on December 1, 2025.
According to the company, this passenger volume is supported by 160 routes operated by 60 airlines to 41 countries. The announcement noted that the record reflects the dynamic and steady development of air connectivity in Cyprus, achieved through the joint efforts of Hermes Airports, tourism organizations, and government bodies.
Hermes Airports stated that reaching 13 million confirms the effectiveness of its strategy to enhance the country's connectivity and aims to further strengthen year-round route availability and increase the number of direct flights to key cities. The company thanked all airlines, partners, and every passenger for contributing to this achievement.
