Cyprus Red Cross Collects 2,500 "Love Packages" for Christmas
The Cyprus Red Cross has successfully gathered “love packages” containing Christmas gifts for 2,500 families in need.

Each package contains 26 types of food products, including olive oil, sunflower oil, coffee, milk, jam, legumes, pasta, grains, and sauces.
In addition, every package includes a Love Bag—a small pouch containing essential hygiene items such as shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, a toothbrush, and more.
Within a few days, volunteers and students will distribute these gifts to families facing financial hardships.
The Red Cross will deliver the packages to schools, where teachers will confidentially distribute them to families in need. Some families are also reaching out directly to the Red Cross for assistance, particularly those without children in school.
According to Philenews, this year, the “love packages” and gift vouchers will be given to 2,500 families. Last year, around 2,000 families received support.
The distribution will be completed by December 20.
