Companies in Israel want to temporarily relocate their employees to Cyprus
Due to the conflict in the Middle East, many international companies in Israel are actively looking for locations outside the country to relocate their employees.
According to philenews sources, in the last 24 hours, several international companies contacted the authorities in Larnaca to rent premises for the temporary relocation of their employees to a safe location, as they stated, for a period of two to three weeks.
They are also looking for hotel rooms, as due to special flights that have been operating since last Tuesday, some Israelis residing in the city and tourist area have left.
Nevertheless, occupancy in Larnaca remains at an unprecedented level for this time of year (over 90%), due to the constant arrival of Israelis by boat to the port, while others hoping to find a place on one of the special flights via Larnaca Airport continue to arrive.
In the last 24 hours, according to RIK, 22 new vessels arrived at the port of Larnaca carrying 150 people. So far, over 140 vessels from Israel with 600 passengers have been serviced at the port of Larnaca. Meanwhile, another 24 special flights from Larnaca Airport to Israel and Jordan are scheduled during the day to repatriate Israelis.
