Cristiano Ronaldo invests in the development of a game for football fans in Paphos
Cristiano Ronaldo has become an investor in UFL, a new free football video game created by a Paphos-based company. The global football star is part of a group of investors who recently committed to investing over 40 million dollars in the development of the new game.
It is expected that Cristiano Ronaldo's involvement in the project will contribute to the advancement of the game as part of UFL's mission to set a new standard for exciting football games.
"I am very excited to be part of this project, as UFL has the potential to become a new generation of football games," said the famous footballer.
Although the official release date has not been announced yet, it is known that the closed testing phase will begin in the fall of this year. UFL will be available on the latest models of PlayStation and Xbox.
Currently, the game can be found and added to the wishlist on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store. The creators have stated that the game will be available for free with new features and updates added regularly, without mandatory payments or annual fees. The game is conceived as a fair play, emphasizing a skill-based approach.
"The addition of Cristiano Ronaldo to us as a partner and investor is a significant step forward and confirmation of our vision to create the leading game for football fans worldwide," said Strikerz Inc CEO Evgeny Nashilov.
