Limassol Leads in Luxury Real Estate Sales Sector
The top 10 most expensive real estate sales in Cyprus in April totaled 16.2 million euros, according to a report published by the real estate analytics company Ask Wire.
Limassol continues to dominate this sector, with 6 out of the top 10 largest property transactions in Cyprus occurring in April. The total value of these transactions amounted to 10.3 million euros.
Three other significant transactions in April were concluded in Paphos, with one in Nicosia. In total, transactions worth 4.9 million euros were recorded in the Paphos area, and one transaction worth 1 million euros in Nicosia.
The top-rated purchase was a house in Kuklia, Paphos, sold for 3 million euros. In second place was a house in Pano Platres, Limassol, purchased for 2.6 million euros. Additionally, in Limassol, land in Ayios Ambrosios was sold for 2.1 million euros, and an apartment in Mouttagiaka for 1.73 million euros.
Other notable sales in Limassol included a house and a plot of land in Mouttagiaka and the municipality of Ayios Athanasios, respectively.
A notable sale in Nicosia was a plot of land in the Strovolos municipality for 1 million euros. It is also noted that the 50 most expensive real estate deals in April across Cyprus amounted to 35.6 million euros. Limassol accounted for 37.1% of this amount, followed by Paphos with 27.5%.
The top 10 real estate properties in Nicosia were sold for 5.5 million euros, while sales in Larnaca and the Famagusta free zone amounted to 4.1 million euros and 3 million euros, respectively.
In Larnaca, the most expensive property was an apartment sold for 590,000 euros, while residential real estate in the Famagusta free zone was sold for 688,000 euros.
