Masterclasses by international professionals at the 24th Cyprus Film Days festival
Organizers of the 24th Cyprus Film Days International Festival have announced a series of specialized masterclasses and practical workshops to be held from April 17 to 25 at events in Nicosia and Limassol. In Cyprus, the program is designed for directors, screenwriters, cinematographers, and anyone interested in contemporary filmmaking.
A two-day intensive on April 18–19 titled "AI Cinema" by Elettra Fiumi will take place at the CYENS Centre of Excellence in Nicosia, focusing on the creative application of AI technologies in cinema. On April 19, at the Directors Guild of Cyprus, Oscar-nominated screenwriter Christina Lazaridi will lead "The Rewriting Mind" workshop, focused on practical script revision techniques and character development.
On April 20, acting and casting sessions — "One Minute Monologue" with Lucinda Syson, Juliette Ménager, and Alexandra Montag — will be held at ARTos House, followed by a live performance at Zena Palace. On April 22, a color grading masterclass and workshop titled "Let’s Grade" with Manthos Sardis will include a demonstration at Copper Island studio and a public session at the Rialto Theatre.
