Mini-tornado swept through a Christmas village: decorations and pavilions damaged

In the Troodos Mountains, severe weather caused damage to one of the popular holiday locations. In the area of the Agros Christmas village, a mini-tornado was recorded that passed through the fairgrounds and damaged part of the decorations and trading structures.
According to eyewitnesses, the vortex appeared suddenly, tore down decorations, overturned light structures, and created chaos at the site. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries, but the material damage is assessed as significant.
Organizers and local services are inspecting the area and eliminating the consequences of the bad weather. We remind that Agros is one of the most visited Christmas villages in Cyprus during the winter season.
