According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Wednesday, July 24, the region will be influenced by seasonal low pressure and warm air. Starting today, the island will temporarily be affected by a relatively unstable air mass.

In the first half of the day, the weather will be mostly clear, but there will be occasional low cloud cover, especially along the coasts. Due to localized increases in cloud cover after noon, rain is possible, primarily in the mountains.

The meteorological service forecasts that daytime temperatures today will rise to 41°C in inland areas, up to 38°C on the southern, eastern, and northern coasts, and up to 33°C on the western coast and in mountainous areas.

By evening, the weather will remain mostly clear. On the coasts, especially in the west and north, there will be occasional low cloud cover. In the evening and morning hours, light fog may form locally, especially in the southeast and inland areas.

Nighttime temperatures will drop to 24°C in inland areas and on the western and southwestern coasts, around 25°C on other coasts, and down to 21°C in mountainous areas. The weather is expected to cool in the coming days, staying near the seasonal average until Saturday.
