In Cyprus, on May 16th, increased pressure and clear weather without precipitation are expected
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, weak high pressure will begin to affect the region on Thursday, May 16th.
Today, in the first half, the weather will be predominantly clear, although towards the evening, in some areas, mainly in the mountains, cloudiness will temporarily increase.
According to the meteorological forecast, during the day, the air temperature will rise to 31°C in the inland areas, to 27°C on the southeast and east coasts, around 25°C on the remaining coasts, and down to 21°C in mountainous regions.
By the evening, the weather will be mostly clear, and in the morning hours, mainly in the southeast, there might be locally thin fog or even low clouds.
The air temperature will drop to 14°C inland, to 16°C on the coast, and to 12°C in mountainous regions.
It is expected that over the next three days, the temperature will significantly rise and fluctuate above the average climatic values.
From Friday onwards, fine dust will be present in the atmosphere, with its concentration expected to be higher on Saturday and Sunday.
