In Cyprus, 80 football teams are conducting training camps as part of their mid-season preparations
According to the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Kostas Kumis, there is "nothing new" about football teams traveling to Cyprus for winter training camps.
"We want this direction to develop rapidly in our country," emphasized the deputy minister.
To achieve this goal, the ministry has taken several steps to organize sports conferences and other sporting events.
"We are pleased that international teams, such as the national teams of Sweden and Estonia, have chosen our country this year," added the deputy minister.
