Nature Trails Reopen to Visitors in Cyprus
The Department of Forests, under the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Environment, has announced that nature trails, which were temporarily closed to the public, are now safe and open for hiking.
Here is a list of the reopened nature trails in Cyprus:
- Meadow Trail (circular, wheelchair accessible)
- Artemis Trail (circular)
- Atalanti Trail (circular)
- Persephone’s Path (linear)
- Caledonia Trail (linear)
- High Tree-Pouziaris Trail (circular)
- Kato Amiantos - Lumata ton Aetos (linear)
- Meadow Plain Trail (circular)
- Bishop’s Tombs Trail (linear)
- Kannoures - Agios Nikolaos Stegis (Kakopetria) (linear)
- Prodromos Dam - Stavroulia Trail (linear)
- Prodromos - Zoumi Trail (linear)
- E4 Trail (Troodos Region)
- Madari - Thank God (direct) and Teisia from Madari (circular)
- Avakas Gorge
