Cyprus has recorded the largest single-day fuel price increase in the last three years.

As reported by Marios Drousiotis, President of the Cyprus Consumers Association, the price of gasoline rose by approximately 2 cents per liter, diesel by 3.5 cents, and heating oil by 3.55 cents.

According to him, the total single-day increase reached 20.3 cents per liter for gasoline, 35 cents for diesel, and 28 cents for heating oil, marking the sharpest jump in the last three years.

The price hike also affected liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). For instance, a 10kg gas cylinder, which cost around 18.50 euros before the war, is now selling for 24.50–25 euros.
