A digital platform for social care structures launched in Cyprus
On 14 November 2025, the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare in Cyprus announced the launch of the Digital Platform for Long-term and Short-term Care for social care structures. The platform aims to provide access to approved institutions under the Ministry’s supervision.
The website socialcare.org.cy presents lists of structures and contact information, sorted by districts and municipalities, specifying target population groups and program types. According to the Deputy Ministry, the resource was created as part of measures to modernize the services provided.
The list includes nursing homes and facilities for people with disabilities, nurseries and kindergartens, supported living accommodations, adult centers, care services (“Homes in the Community”), child protection and employment centers, residential units for persons with disabilities, and other programs for people with special needs.
The Deputy Ministry notes that consolidating the mapping of structures in a single digital environment improves accessibility of the support network for citizens and ensures prompt and equal access to services that meet their needs.
