Brutal Murder on British Bases in Larnaca
A brutal murder occurred late last evening on the territory of the British bases in Larnaca. Allegedly, the owner of a workshop shot an unknown man.
According to available information, the murder was committed late Tuesday evening in a workshop near Ormideia in the Larnaca district. The investigation of this high-profile crime is being conducted by the British bases police with the assistance of the Cyprus police.
The first reports of the crime reached law enforcement around 11:00 PM. Arriving officers found a dead man with gunshot wounds to the head.
It appears that the victim was shot around 10:30 PM. Preliminary data suggests that the victim had an appointment with the owner of the workshop where the murder occurred. The police believe that the victim and the perpetrator were partners and worked together.
In a previous statement, the British bases police announced that the workshop owner is wanted in connection with the murder. He may be armed and is likely injured. The identity of the deceased has not yet been established.
The crime scene was cordoned off and guarded throughout the night.
