Winners of the Cyprus Peace Prize Announced
The "All-Cyprus Peace Council" has announced the laureates of the 2023 Peace Prize. The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday, February 14, 2023, at 7:00 PM at the POED Events Hall in Nicosia.
In the organizers' statement, the main goal of the prize is to "acknowledge and reward individuals and organized groups who have made a significant contribution to values such as peace, social justice, and humanism."
The 2023 laureates are:

Donis Hristofinis - for his valuable contribution over many years as a prominent figure in the Cypriot peace movement and international solidarity.

The Bicommunal United Organization of Relatives of the Missing and Victims of War "Together We Can Succeed" - for its important work in searching for the missing and determining their fate.

Panayiotis Pashalis - for his contribution to the fair resolution of the Palestinian issue and the cause of peace in the Middle East region, symbolized by his exemplary work in the field of investigative journalism.
