Abandoned house caught fire in Limassol overnight
At 01:22, the fire service received a report of a fire in an abandoned house in Limassol.
According to a spokesperson for the Cyprus Fire Service, the fire started from trash inside the building and quickly spread to the roof.
As a result of the fire, part of the roof collapsed, and rescuers had to dismantle the remaining part to fully extinguish the flames.
Two fire engines arrived at the scene. It was preliminarily determined that the fire broke out after unknown individuals set fire to garbage inside the house.
