The authoritative travel portal TripAdvisor has published a ranking of the world's and Europe's beaches based on traveler reviews. One of the beaches in Ayia Napa made it into the top 25 list.
The survey was conducted from October 2022 to September 2023. According to its results, Nissi Beach on the well-known Cypriot resort ranked 22nd in the world and seventh in Europe.
Tourists are attracted by the clean water, picturesque bay, and a small islet that gave the beach its name, which can be reached on foot through shallow water.
According to TripAdvisor users, Praia da Falésia (Albufeira, Portugal) took the first place in the ranking of beaches. This was followed by Spiaggia dei Conigli (Italy) and La Concha Beach (Spain).
Also making it into the top ten were Ka'anapali Beach (Hawaii, USA), Grace Bay Beach (Turks and Caicos), Anse Lazio (Seychelles), Manly Beach (Australia), Eagle Beach (Aruba), Siesta Beach (Florida, USA), and Varadero Beach (Cuba).
The Cypriot beach surpassed Myrtos Beach (Kefalonia, Greece), Playa Norte (Mexico), and Muro Alto Beach (Brazil) in the ranking.
