A hunter fell into a 50-meter ravine in the Gerasa area in Cyprus
An emergency alert sounded on Sunday morning, November 9, 2025: the Fire Service, EMAK and Police were mobilized in the Limassol district in Cyprus after a report that a hunter had fallen into a gorge about 50 meters deep in the Gerasa area.
Rescue services immediately arrived at the scene and carried out an operation to extract the injured man. The operation ended with the successful rescue of the hunter.
According to law enforcement authorities, the man was conscious during the extraction. For precautionary examination, he was transported to the hospital.
