All Opponents for Cyprus in the Final of "Eurovision 2024" Determined
All finalists of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 have been determined. The second semi-final concluded in Malmö, Sweden, late in the evening on Thursday, May 9.
The last 10 spots in the final were contested among performers from 16 countries. According to the results of the audience voting, which took place immediately after the broadcast of all contestants' performances, representatives from Greece, Switzerland, Austria, Latvia, Georgia, Estonia, Israel, Norway, the Netherlands, and Armenia advanced to the final of Eurovision 2024 after the second semi-final.
It is worth noting that before the start of the second semi-final, a protest took place in the city against Israel's participation in the contest. However, this did not prevent 20-year-old Israeli contestant Eden Golan from advancing to the final of the contest with her lyrical ballad "Hurricane."
Recall that earlier, after the first semi-final, the representative of the Republic of Cyprus made it to the decisive stage of Eurovision 2024. Seventeen-year-old Australian of Cypriot descent Silia Capsis with her song "Liar" opened the first semi-final of Eurovision 2024 and successfully made it to the final of the contest, which will take place on May 11.
Following the results of the first semi-final, Serbia, Portugal, Slovenia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Finland, Croatia, Ireland, and Luxembourg also advanced to the final alongside Cyprus.
You can watch the final of the song contest on the national television channels of participating countries, as well as on the "Eurovision" channel on YouTube, TikTok, or the official website of the contest. The final will take place on Saturday, May 11.
