Full Program of the 2025 Limassol Carnival Announced
The Republic of Cyprus is preparing for one of the most vibrant events of the year—the Limassol Carnival 2025. This year, the festivities will take place from February 20 to March 2, with an estimated 35,000 participants expected at the country's largest festival.

February 18
19:00 — Panos Solomonides Municipal Cultural Center
A ceremonial event honoring Ritsa Koutsoudi, the eternal Carnival Queen, under the patronage of the Mayor of Limassol. The event is organized by carnival enthusiasts and Ritsa’s friends.
February 19
19:00 — Theomaria Art Gallery (Vasilissa Karlotta 7 & Eleni Paleologini Street)
Opening of the 18th Vera Efimiou Parlalidou Mask Exhibition, inaugurated by Limassol Mayor Yiannis Armeftis.
20:00 — Limassol Carnival Opening Ceremony
A festive celebration with live music, starting at the Limassol Municipality building.
February 20
10:00 — Carnival Fun with Music & Treats
- In front of Hellenic Bank (Gladstonos Street)
- In front of Bank of Cyprus (Agiou Andreou Street, opposite Ayia Napa Church)
13:30 — Limassol Singers concert at Saripolou Square, with a DJ set continuing until 22:00.
18:00 — Art Exhibition "Carnival 2025"
- Organized by Limassol Municipality in collaboration with the Limassol Artists Association.
- Featuring performances by the Children’s Choir and the Polemidia Municipality Choir.
18:00 — Grigoris Afxentiou Square
Live carnival rhythms performed by the band Time Surfers.
19:00 — Grand Carnival Procession
- Starting point: Limassol Municipality building
- Participants: The Mayor, Municipal Council, Limassol Philharmonic Orchestra, Limassol Majorettes
- The Carnival King’s Float and Cypriot performers will join from Mesa Gitonia to Grigoris Afxentiou Square (Diikitirio).
19:30 — Arrival of the Carnival King
- Accompanied by his entourage and the Batukinio percussion group.
- Coronation ceremony followed by a carnival party with songs and dances.
- Performances by Konstantinos Christoforou and ONE.
February 21

A choir concert featuring:

Performance by Cuban Guns, featuring Cuban salsa hits.
14:00 — Limassol Philharmonic Youth Jazz Orchestra.
15:00 — Limassol Bicycle Club Carnival Ride
- Start & Finish: Grigoris Afxentiou Square.
16:00 — Mandolin & Choir Performance
- Featuring Maria Diamantidou Choir with Georgia Kombou on mandolin.
- Locations: Agiou Andreou Street & Medieval Castle Square.
17:30 — Art Exhibition Opening
- Artist: Cuban painter Yohi Suarez.
- Venue: Limassol Municipal Library.
- Open until February 28 (Mon-Fri, 20:00-17:00).

- Next to Limassol Municipal Library.

February 23
11:30 — Children’s Carnival Parade
- Start: Traffic lights at Municipal Park.
- End: Molos parking area, near Red Café.
18:30 — Concert Honoring Giorgos Giorgalletos, founder of the Giorgalletou Singers.
20:30 — Lanitis Carob Mill
"Samba-Laiko" show featuring:
- Katerina Paraskou, Dimitris Mesimeris, & Frideriki Tombazou.
- A fusion of carnival traditions & modern music.
