Paphos hosted a stage of the Cyprus Road Races Grand Prix — despite the bad weather
The Municipality of Paphos announced that it supported the Cyprus Road Races Grand Prix, organized by the Cyprus Amateur Athletics Federation (Κ.Ο.Ε.Α.Σ.). This is the only official road race in Cyprus whose results are included in the World Ranking.
The mayor’s office thanked everyone who helped make the event a success: runners, parents, volunteers and partner organizations. It was noted that Paphos once again proved its ability to host major sporting events with strong engagement — even in challenging weather conditions.
The net proceeds from the Metro Kids Race will be donated to the charitable initiative “Poreia Christodoullas”.
