Young Couple Critically Injured in Quad Bike Accident in Ayia Napa
A serious accident involving a quad bike has occurred in Ayia Napa, leaving two young individuals, both aged 20, in critical condition.
According to police reports, the incident took place around 11:45 PM. A 20-year-old man was driving the quad bike with a 20-year-old female passenger. At some point, the driver lost control of the vehicle, collided with the curb, and then crashed into a tree. The quad bike overturned, coming to a halt in the middle of the road.
Both passengers sustained injuries in the accident. They were initially rushed to the main hospital in Famagusta but were later transferred to the main hospital in Nicosia due to the severity of their condition.
Medical professionals have described the health status of both individuals as critical. The investigation into the cause of the accident is currently underway, led by the Ayia Napa police station.
