The park on Salaminos Street in Tseri, Cyprus, has been vandalized for the fourth time in 12 months, the Lakatamia Municipality administration reported.
According to the municipality’s announcement, the damage is significant. Repeated acts of vandalism not only cause financial losses for repairs but also show disrespect for public property and the local community, officials noted.
The municipality stated its intention to immediately carry out all necessary repair and restoration work. In its appeal to residents, it emphasized the importance of cooperation and vigilance.
The administration urges residents to promptly inform law enforcement or municipal services if they notice suspicious activity or new acts of vandalism. The municipality concluded: “Public spaces belong to all of us, and we must protect them.”
