In Cyprus, a dog named Milo, who went missing six months ago from the Kiti area in Larnaca, was found in Nicosia and returned to his owners. The story of his disappearance drew a wide response among local residents.

As reported by animal volunteer and rescuer Kyveli Elysium, the dog was discovered in Nicosia with another person, wearing a collar that did not belong to the original owners. The woman who found Milo took him to a veterinary clinic to check for a microchip.

The microchip scan made it possible to identify the true owners and contact them. Six months after going missing, the dog has returned home.

The case once again highlighted the importance of mandatory identification for pets. According to volunteers, the microchip was the decisive factor that allowed the dog to be reunited with his family.
