Cyprus authorities have expressed their readiness to assist British police in the search for Tommy Robinson, the far-right activist who might be hiding on the island.

According to information published by the Daily Mail, the former leader of the English Defence League is reportedly evading a court appearance in the UK by staying at a five-star resort in Ayia Napa.

Tommy Robinson is suspected of inciting attacks against migrants in the UK.

Cyprus police have stated they are prepared to offer assistance if needed. They have been in contact with their British counterparts upon learning about the upcoming court proceedings and the possibility of Robinson’s presence at a Cypriot resort.

The report highlights that Tommy Robinson uses social media to incite unrest in his home country, particularly focusing on anti-migrant sentiments.

Protests against migrants and Muslims took place in the UK last week.

The far-right leader, who may be connected to the unrest, was arrested last Sunday and subsequently released on bail. He was scheduled to appear in the Royal Court in London on Monday but failed to attend.
