Beer deliveries in Cyprus in August fell by 5%, exports collapsed by almost 36%
According to data published on 5 September 2025 by the Statistical Service (CNA), in August the volume of beer deliveries from producers decreased by 5.1%, amounting to 4,517,959 liters compared to 4,931,215 liters a year earlier.
The domestic market showed a significant decline: the volume of beer delivered for domestic consumption dropped by 7.2%, to 4,390,437 liters compared to 4,732,410 liters in the same period of 2024.
The most notable decrease was in exports: volumes abroad fell by 35.9%, to 127,522 liters, whereas in August last year exports reached 198,805 liters.
In addition, in August alone, compared with July 2025, the total volume of deliveries decreased by 721,301 liters, corresponding to a 13.7% decline.
