Greek Man Injured in Nicosia Fire Dies in Hospital
A 52-year-old Greek man who sustained severe injuries in a fire at an abandoned house has passed away while receiving treatment at Nicosia General Hospital.

According to a statement from the police, the fire occurred on the evening of December 21 in an abandoned building where the man had been residing. The blaze reportedly started around 10:00 PM. Two other individuals, who were also believed to be living in the house, escaped uninjured.
The man was rushed to the hospital’s burns unit with critical injuries. Despite the tireless efforts of the medical team, his life could not be saved.
The Omorfita Police Station is conducting an investigation into the incident.
