The government of Cyprus will allocate 1 million euros to enhance the cybersecurity of small businesses
The Cypriot National Cyber Security Coordination Center, in collaboration with the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF), has announced the launch of a new support scheme aimed at strengthening the cybersecurity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The total support amount is set at 1 million euros.
The program is designed to enhance the security level and provide optimal protection for the infrastructure, systems, and information of Cypriot SMEs, thereby increasing their resilience. Additionally, the program aims to certify companies for their compliance with European and international standards and criteria that meet the requirements of the National Cyber Security Coordination Center.
It is noted that the funding for individual projects will range from 20,000 to 60,000 euros. The program is jointly funded by the Republic of Cyprus and the European Union's "Digital Europe" program.
Interested parties can submit proposals through the IRIS RIF portal until January 31, 2024.
For additional information, interested parties can visit the RIF website or contact the Fund's Partner Service Center at 22-205000 or via email at [email protected].
