The President of Italy will make the first visit to Cyprus
Italian President Sergio Mattarella will visit Cyprus on February 26 and 27 on a state visit.
According to the official spokesperson of the Government of the Republic of Cyprus, Constantinos Petrides, this will be the Italian leader's first visit to the island since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states.
According to the government's statement, Sergio Mattarella will be accompanied by representatives of the Italian government and a large delegation during the trip.
