Five People Hospitalized After Major Fire in Paphos
A major fire broke out in a residential building in Paphos late last night, sending five residents to the hospital.

Emergency services received reports of a fire on Epirou Street in the Universal area at around 3 a.m.
Three fire crews responded quickly to the scene, successfully containing the blaze and preventing it from spreading to neighboring homes.
According to police reports, the affected home was occupied by a family of six—a couple with their two young children, as well as their grandparents. Five of them were transported to Paphos General Hospital due to breathing difficulties, and one victim sustained burns.
Preliminary investigations suggest the fire started in an outdoor storage shed attached to the house.
Once the fire was extinguished, authorities secured the area, and this morning, an official investigation into the cause of the fire began.
