School supplies collection in Nicosia extended until September 3

The Municipality of Nicosia announced the extension of the campaign for collecting new and gently used school supplies in excellent condition until Wednesday, September 3, 2025. The campaign will not take place on August 30 and 31 (weekend days).

According to the municipality, five collection and distribution points are open in different areas of the city. Residents can bring or receive school backpacks, pencil cases, and stationery from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the following addresses: Paluriotissa Square (Ayios Andreas Street, 7), the former Aglanzia Town Hall building, Kyriakou Matsi Avenue, 42 (Engomi), the former youth information center at Ayios Georgiou, 20 (Ayios Dometios), and the Nicosia Town Hall building at Eptanisu Street, 11 (within the city walls).

The extension of the collection period allows more residents to provide children with school supplies by the start of the school year, which is particularly relevant given the rise in prices of essential goods in recent years.
