Construction in Cyprus: production rose by 5.2% in 2025, prices by 4.1%
The Statistical Service published data for the construction sector on April 6, 2026: in 2025, an increase was observed in both production volume and producer prices.
According to the Statistical Service (CYSTAT), the production index in construction for the fourth quarter of 2025 stood at 135.02 points (base 2021=100), which is 9.0% more compared to the fourth quarter of 2024. The producer price index in construction for the same period reached 125.72 points (base 2021=100), increasing by 0.6% compared to the third quarter of 2025 and by 3.0% in annual terms.
For the period January–December 2025, compared to the same period in 2024, the production index in construction rose by 5.2%, and the producer price index by 4.1%.
These official indicators reflect the dynamics of the volume of construction work and changes in the price base in the sector (base 2021=100).
