The Paphos Regional Tourism Board (Etap) reported on April 3, 2026, that the Paphos tourism sector is approaching full operational capacity, with almost all hotels and major tourist sites in the district functioning again.
According to Etap, most hotels in the district have begun reopening, marking the official start of the season. By the end of March, approximately 25,000 out of 30,000 hotel beds were available in the region, indicating a broad restart of the hospitality sector.
Airport operations are running smoothly: the regional board notes that approximately 95 percent of scheduled flights are operating on time. Paphos International Airport remains one of the key transport hubs in Cyprus, providing connections with low-cost and regional carriers, supporting year-round tourism.
Etap emphasizes that Paphos continues to be among the most popular destinations in Cyprus, attracting tourists from Europe and repeat visitors who enjoy the beaches, cultural sites, and mild climate.
Official data provides insight into the scale of the tourism industry recovery in the region and the availability of services for residents and visitors to Paphos at the start of the new season.
