At the entrance to the medical center in Aradippou, an explosive device detonated. The police are investigating the case of destruction of property.
According to law enforcement agencies, the explosion at the door of the medical center in Aradippou occurred today around one in the morning. The main entrance to the medical facility was damaged by the blast wave. Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
Officers from the Aradippou police station arrived at the scene. During the examination of the incident site, it was determined that a homemade explosive device had detonated at the main entrance to the center.
The scene was cordoned off, and firefighters from the Police Headquarters are expected to arrive to begin an investigation to determine the type of explosive device that was placed at the entrance to the medical center.
TAE Larnaca, in collaboration with the Aradippou police station, is investigating the case of attempted property destruction using explosives.
