According to the BFMTV channel, the blades of the windmill at the cabaret, which are rightfully considered one of the symbols of Paris, fell off on the night of Thursday. The reasons for the collapse of the structure are not mentioned. It is only known that along with the windmill wings, the sign "Moulin Rouge" also lost its first three letters.

The message states that the wings of the legendary "Moulin Rouge," located in the Pigalle district of Paris, fell around two to three o'clock from Wednesday to Thursday night. The Paris Fire Brigade reported that there were no casualties.

According to the television channel, as of Thursday morning, April 25, the debris of the popular tourist attraction lay on the ground. The fallen blades of the cabaret's windmill were temporarily covered with tarpaulin. There is no risk of further collapse of the building.

The "Moulin Rouge" ("Red Mill") is a classic cabaret in Paris, built in 1889. One of the landmarks of the French capital is located in the 18th municipal district, on Boulevard de Clichy, in the red-light district near Place Pigalle.
