The participant of the car accident with four fatalities in Limassol was charged with 10 offenses: he does not admit his guilt
The trial of the participant of the car accident that occurred on the night of January 1, 2024, in Limassol, Cyprus, continues. Four people died in the fatal accident.
The 44-year-old driver faces 10 charges, four of which are related to murder, carrying a potential life sentence. Four points relate to causing death due to reckless, negligent, or dangerous action or behavior. The driver is also accused of speeding and running a red light at an intersection.
During the court hearing, the defendant did not admit guilt to any of the 10 charges against him.
The next session for this case is scheduled for June 26.
It is worth reminding that the fatal accident, which claimed the lives of four people, occurred in Limassol on the first day of the new year. The victims of the car accident were 27-year-old Vatulas Georgiou, his brother - 17-year-old Nicholas Georgiou, their grandfather - 73-year-old Nicholas Zavru, and grandmother - 74-year-old Evantia Georgiou.
