UNIC Athens has registered its first students in the Faculty of Law

UNIC Athens — the academic and research center of the University of Nicosia in Greece — has admitted its first students to the Faculty of Law for the 2025–2026 academic year. The center is located in Elliniko, in the south of Athens, and has recently received accreditation for the LLB (Law) program from the National Authority for Higher Education of Greece. Registration will remain open until December 5.
The Director of the Faculty of Law in Athens, Professor Irini Stamatoudi, noted that for three decades the University of Nicosia has been educating lawyers, prosecutors, judges, and notaries who have successfully worked in Cyprus, Greece, the EU, and other countries. According to her, the opening of the Faculty of Law in Athens marked an important milestone for the entire university community. She also reminded that UNIC is ranked among the world’s top 600 universities in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026.
The new faculty offers a four-year LLB program in Greek, fully based on Greek law. Classes are taught by experienced lecturers, and the curriculum is designed in accordance with international standards of legal education.
