Cyprus Airports Set New Passenger Traffic Record
Cyprus airports have achieved a new record for the number of passengers arriving and departing. In August, a total of 1.6 million people used air travel.
According to data released by Airports Council International (ACI Europe), Larnaca and Paphos airports reported their highest monthly passenger numbers to date.
Larnaca Airport served 1.1 million passengers, while Paphos Airport welcomed 500,000 passengers. Compared to August of the previous year, passenger traffic at Cyprus airports has increased by 5.7%.
