Evacuation order in Akrotiri extended until March 6
The evacuation order in Akrotiri has been extended until March 6. This was reported by the Ministry of Interior, noting that further decisions will depend on the development of the situation.
Residents of Timi, Anarita, Mandria, Ormideia, Xylofagou, and Xylotymvou have been informed in advance about temporary accommodation points in case of a possible evacuation.
Civil Defence continues patrolling the Akrotiri area and maintains contact with residents who have left their homes.
