The book "I am Vladimir Putin" was presented in Ankara
A presentation of the book "I am Vladimir Putin" took place at the Russian House in Ankara. The edition includes translations into Turkish of selected speeches and articles by the Russian leader.
According to the Russian Ambassador to Turkey, Alexey Yerkhov, the aim of the book is to acquaint Turkish readers with the President of Russia and to show his personality.
"I feel a special pride because I was involved in the publication of this book. It was not easy to decide which articles and materials to choose for it," said Ambassador Alexey Yerkhov at the presentation.
The book includes landmark speeches, interviews, and articles by the President of Russia, including those published in the Western press. Among them are speeches at the Valdai International Discussion Club and Vladimir Putin's speech in Munich.
In addition, speeches related to Russian-Turkish topics have been translated into Turkish, such as speeches at ceremonies for the laying or commissioning of projects such as the Turkish Stream gas pipeline and the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant. Another part of the materials is devoted to regional events: Syria, the Mediterranean, and Asian regions.
"We would like Turkish readers interested in Russia and its leader to get an idea of how his character was formed, what were the main stages of his biography. We wanted Turkish citizens to understand the stages of Putin's development as a politician, to understand the mindset and mentality of our president and our country," noted Alexey Yerkhov.
The book was published by a Turkish publishing house with the support of the Russian Embassy in Turkey.
