63-Year-Old Woman Dies in Car Accident in Cyprus
A fatal accident in Cyprus has claimed the life of a 63-year-old woman who lost consciousness while driving and crashed into a fence.
The accident occurred last night around 2:20 AM in Nicosia. According to police reports, Frosso Diogenes was driving on Agios Street in Lakatamia when she lost consciousness. Her uncontrolled vehicle veered off the road, struck a roadside barrier, and then crashed into a building's fence before coming to a stop.
Emergency services, including police officers, firefighters, and an ambulance crew, arrived promptly at the scene. The firefighters extricated the woman from the vehicle, and she was transported by ambulance to Nicosia General Hospital, where a doctor pronounced her dead.
An autopsy revealed that her death was due to injuries sustained during the accident.
