Container with Property Linked to Burglary Series Found in Thessaloniki — Police Cooperate with Greece
Police in Thessaloniki have discovered a container with cargo that, according to the investigation, may be linked to a series of residential burglaries being investigated in Cyprus. The discovery followed checks and coordinated actions by the investigative team.
During a detailed inspection conducted in cooperation with Greek authorities, property was identified in the container that experts assess as potential loot from the perpetrators. The cargo was sent by container to Thessaloniki before it reached the intended recipients.
According to available information, three individuals of Georgian origin have already been detained in the case and face charges related to the thefts. The suspects are in custody and are expected to appear today at the Limassol District Court for the extension of their remand.
The investigation continues with the goal of fully clarifying the circumstances of the case and identifying potential accomplices. For residents in Cyprus, this means active interstate coordination of law enforcement agencies and further procedural actions within the serial burglary case.
