In Larnaca, the first phase of sculpture installations was presented at Mesoyios Park

The Municipality of Larnaca, in collaboration with the Larnaca Tourism Board (ETAP), presented the first phase of the project to install sculptures at the Mesoyios Artists’ Park.
According to the organizers, the showcased works are inspired by the theme “The Mediterranean” and reflect the connection between place, sea, nature, and culture.
As part of the first phase, four new sculptures by Cypriot artists were unveiled, along with two previously existing works that had already adorned the space.
The initiative, supported by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism of Cyprus, aims to promote Mesoyios Park as a hub of cultural creativity and a tourist attraction.
The selection of artworks was carried out through a competition overseen by an expert committee composed of Atos Kazandjis, Victor Mantovanis, Josef Hadjikiriakou, Georgia Michaelidou, and Irini Constantinou.
Each sculpture is equipped with a QR code allowing visitors to access information about the artist and their work. ETAP plans to continue installing new artworks in the park throughout 2026.
