In Limassol, poachers opened fire and rammed a Hunting Service vehicle: arrest warrants issued

In the Paramytha area (Limassol), a dangerous incident involving poachers occurred late Thursday night. At around 03:00, officers of the Hunting and Wildlife Service signaled a suspicious vehicle to stop; however, its occupants ignored the order, opened fire, then deliberately rammed the service vehicle and fled.
According to police, the poachers’ car had no license plates and was traveling in a remote, hard-to-access area. Despite the escape, Hunting Service officers managed to identify the suspects, after which police issued warrants for their arrest. The perpetrators remain at large; the investigation is ongoing.
