Limassol Names the Carnival Queen 2026
On September 11, 2025, the Municipality of Limassol announced that the title of “Queen of Passion and Madness” of the Limassol Carnival 2026 was awarded to Amarillis Kyriacou.

The municipality noted that Amarillis has been participating in the carnival since 1985. She first appeared as the companion of the Carnival King together with the late Loula Siousmith and later took part in events with various groups.
Since 2005, Amarillis has been actively involved in the Grand Carnival Parade of Limassol, performing with her own teams. The municipality highlighted her long-standing contribution to the celebration and her role in creating the carnival atmosphere.

The chosen title reflects the official decision of the municipality and assigns Amarillis Kyriacou a representative role in the Carnival 2026 program. The city authorities did not provide further details about any related duties or ceremonies in the published statement.
